About Us & Our Aims

About Us

Our day nursery serves the Bexley area and is set within a beautiful Victorian property. Established in 1991, we are one of the longest standing nurseries in the area. Always a warm and loving environment, most families have come to us via a recommendation from a friend or relative. Whilst our recent refurbishment has brought many positives, what has not changed is the support we aim to provide to parents. We will always remain dedicated to offering the most accommodating provision of childcare possible without compromising the child's well-being or the quality of care. All staff are appropriately qualified and we are regulated and inspected by Ofsted.

We intend to continue raising the bar of future childcare provision by challenging complacency and pioneering a forward thinking approach today and every day. One way we will achieve this is to continue making significant investment in our staff by supporting their training and continual professional development and our incentive programmes. This is because The Croft's success to date can be attributed to the dedication of our staff and their leadership. How this manifests day-to-day is in the excellent relationships that our staff members have with the children and their parents.

We have ample parking for drop-off and collections. Our large outdoor areas have all manner of wonderment for the children and now includes a Forest School area.

Parents Comments About Us

“Our son enjoys going to the nursery every day. He likes his friends and all of the staff working there. We, as parents, can see many changes in our son’s character and behaviour since he has joined the nursery. He’s come out of his shell; he’s more confident and more vocal. He’s a happy boy!”

“We are very happy with the nursery and happy that our daughter has settled so quickly and loves going to nursery.”

“We think the staff are doing a brilliant job – their level of motivation and enthusiasm is admirable – keep up the good work!”

“I admire what the management and staff have achieved over the years. The ethos and rapport between the management and staff is great and this good working relationship is what makes The Croft such a happy environment for the children to be in.”

“The Croft is a wonderful nursery, with a fantastic team. Thanks again to everyone for taking such good care of our son.”
